Queens of the stone age front man Josh Homme recently told rolling stone that their are plans in motion to create a new album this year. He explained their going to be recording a follow-up album to their previous 'like clockwork' and had great enthusiasm towards the idea.

"Absolutely. We have more than enough songs. We're booked 'til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going." When asked about how he felt spending time in the studio he said, "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control".
