‘Horror Cult’ is the third release by Bristol-based goth heroes Ashestoangels, a band who’re notorious for providing one of the most visceral and energetic live shows of their scene. The question is, can they capture this live energy on record?It certainly gets off to a suitably feisty start with ‘Six Six Six’ a fast paced slice of gothic punk with a fist-pumping scream along chorus that seems destined to become a fan favourite. The quality level stays high with next track ‘The Wake’. It kicks off with an exhilaratingly fast guitar riff, slowing down to lead into an anthemic chorus, with enrapturing lyrics that weave a tale of grief and loss around the listener.
48 Hours
48Hours are a 3 piece Pop/Hard Rock band hailing from Kent, England. Formed by Adam Jerome & Matt Savini (both ex Colt.44) and Gary Broughton (ex After The Ordeal) - They play catchy heavy rock music that appeals to a wide audience. The band are currently enjoying a huge 2014, with releasing their full length debut ‘Recovery’, receiving airplay from the Xfm rock show and the Kerrang unsigned show and headlining a sold out Camden Barfly among the notable highlights for January 2014! They have undertaken many self booked UK tours and are about to embark on their first package tour as part of the Ourzone Magazine Tour 2014 which will be their biggest yet, with sold out shows in London and Birmingham amongst the run of high quality shows!
