A charity show for Christina Edkinds who lost her life to a fatal attack in birmingham. All profits will go towards supporting the Christina Edkins fund. The gig will be on March 14, and is being organised by Dave Williamson, a school friend of Christina’s parents Jason and Kathleen.
Dave said: “I used to go to school with Christina’s dad, Jason. It was a big shock to learn that someone who I’d been so close to, that their daughter had been killed in such an awful way. I’ve got a daughter that age myself and it is just terrible to think about. The new inquiry has brought it up for her parents and for everyone again. I just want to do what I can to help. Any extra money raised will mean the fund can help more people in the local community in Christina’s name, i know her parents want to work with youth groups in the area in the future.”
