Luxembourg’s upcoming Austinn produces a fresh and distinctive indie-pop sound. Loaded with lush guitars, catchy melodies and straightforward vocals, the young band is certainly one of the most promising newcomer acts to have emerged from their home country. Drawing comparisons to the Kooks and Bloc Party, Austinn offers up a wealth of addictive tunes built on their own brand of songwriting, instrumentation and vocal harmonies. Though band members have spent their entire life saturated in music and performance, it is the release of this brand-new project that will mark their true musical introduction to the world. In March 2015 the band’s first songs have been recorded and produced by Matt Squire in Los Angeles (USA). After several tours through Europe and the UK in 2015, Austinn returned to LA and recorded a very first EP with Matt Squire in January 2016. Keep an eye out on those fresh talents.
