Anette Olzon is a Swedish vocalist best known for her time fronting symphonic metal giants Nightwish between 2007 and 2012. She debuted with the band on their hugely successful album Dark Passion Play, bringing a more melodic, accessible vocal style that helped expand Nightwish’s global audience.
Before and after Nightwish, she’s built a varied career spanning melodic rock and metal, including solo material and collaborations with projects like The Dark Element. Known for her powerful yet emotive voice, she’s remained a respected figure in the rock and metal scene.
She’ll be performing in Birmingham as part of her ongoing live work, giving fans a chance to hear both Nightwish-era favourites and her solo material live.
